I have travelled in a big circle
I have returned refreshed to a beginning
Never has my head been clearer
more apparent
I’m swelling to the pumpkin I once was
When I was contented and full of nonsense
Emotions, however fake, carved into the front of my body
When I knew everything
and fought on every point
laughed each and every laugh
even when my body hurt
when my stomach curdled
as I tasted new salt and new spice
all things nice in my life
